Biggs Cemetery
This cemetery is located 0.5 mile north of the intersection of 48th & 'N' Roads, on the west side of the road. The cemetery is very well maintained.
"On June 16, 1873, Allen Biggs and wife deeded 3 acres of land about a mile east and north of Lorton, in Township 7 North, Range 12 East, Section 1, in McWilliams Precinct for a cemetery for the North Nemaha Baptist Church in Delta, now known as Lorton. The congregation disbanded and the church was torn down about 1909." (1)
